Masai
Mara / Lake Nakuru National Park (4 Days /
3Nights Camping Safari)
SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi / Masai Mara
09.00 hrs: Leave Nairobi via the Great Rift
Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve, picnic
lunch en route. On arrival proceed for a
game drive in search of black maned lion,
elephant, leopard and cheetah, buffalo and
other plains game. Return to the camp for
dinner and overnight. {HB}
Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve
06.30 hrs: Proceed for an early morning
pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp
for breakfast.
10.30 hrs: After break-fast proceed for a
further game drive. Lunch at the campsite.
15.30 hrs: After lunch a further game drive.
Dinner and overnight at the campsite. {FB}
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve / Lake Nakuru
(Flamingoes)
08.30 hrs: After breakfast leave Masai Mara
for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch en
route. On arrival proceed for a game drive
round Lake Nakuru to view flamingoes, water
buck, buffaloes etc. The flamingoes at Lake
Nakuru are often described as the 'WORLD'S
GREATEST BIRD SPECTACLE'. After bird and
game viewing check into a hotel with private
shower/toilet. Dinner and overnight. {FB}
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park / Nairobi
08.00 hrs: After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru
and leisurely drive back to Nairobi {HB}

Transport in a 9-seater safari minibus
(sometimes on sharing basis)
All game park entrance fees
All campsite fees
All campsite equipment
Roomy two-person tents
Foam mattresses
Benches
Three meals a day
All government taxes and levies where
applicable
WHAT IS EXCLUDED FROM THE SAFARI:
International airfares
Accommodation whist in Nairobi
Transfers from or to the airport upon
arrival and departure respectively
All expenditure of personal nature such as
telephone calls and laundry
Tips and gratuities to driver guides, lodge,
or hotel staff.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING (For Camping Safaris
Only):
Sleeping bag (optionally, you can purchase a
blanket from us instead!)
Small suitcase or rucksack as storage space
on our bases is limited (excess luggage can
be securely left at our offices, free of
charge).
Sturdy safari clothes, jeans, T-shirts,
jumper, or anorak for cool evenings and
early mornings.
Torch, toiletries, bath towel and insect
repellant
Film for the duration of the safari
And, of course, personal spending money!!!
